MILFORD , CT 47th MEET THE ARTISTS AND ARTISANS FALL FINALE 
ON THE
MILFORD GREEN,  SEPT. 26 & 27   HIGH AND BROAD ST FROM 10 TILL 5,

The  long and lovely tree shaded Green comes alive with over 160 fine artists and hand crafters, juried for excellence, 
arriving from CA. to ME.and FL. chosen for their imposing and splendid array of individual and distinctive styles, subjects, 
and mediums. Newly discovered, and returning participants, describe, demonstrate, sell their creative inventions and interests.

David Young/MN., plays 2 flutes in harmony simultaneously.  Having sold more than a million recordings by 2007, 
CNN Headline News produced feature stories world wide about his unusual technique;  Gary Love/CA., 
documents his nature photography with  large format film, using only natural light to produce clear eight foot long images. 
Featured as a cover artist  in “Artists of the West”.;  Barry Howe/FL. “The Stadium Guy” photos of  U.S. sports stadiums; 
Bruce Dumas/CT paints coastal New England with the scrupulous devotion of a seafarer, his fishing boats in crowded harbors, 
tranquil sails, capture the essence and strength of the N.E.     
Sonny Cardinali/CT-welds steel, copper, brass for his 10’Ht.x7’W. kinetic wind, 
and futuristic sculputures. Domenic Belli/NY-torchcuts/welds his playful garden  figures, fanciful furniture;  
Joe DeMarco/CT- presents his innovative wood and welded metal  figures of heroic proportions, carving river rocks for his 
popular stone heads;   Michael McCarthy/MA- carves graceful water birds from start to finish during the entire show;  
Ken Lindgren/MA –explains the types of wood and methods used to turn his huge burl bowls, and variety of sculpted receptacles;  
Ted Demers/ CT-national award winning fine furniture  uses twisted, gnarled, forest finds with highly distinctive, 
local  exotic woods for tables, music stands, pedestals.  Riccio & Sayard/CT.-rustic barn and driftwood furniture, 
carved and painted by them; Decanters, bird houses, and purses made of decorative gourds; fiber portrayals of New England; 
Karen Rossi/CT-Internationally renowned for her highly imaginative metal flying females and occupational 
epresentations, fantasy garden arbors, and mosaic chairs;

 

Eighteen jewelers selected from over 190 applicants feature: black diamond lariats, 14 & 18 karat gold, pearls, sterling silver, 
precious metal clay, orphaned and recycled elements,
miniature story books, sculpted iron and gold cuffs, 
for men and women, childrens name
bracelets.  Demonstrations: of lamp worked glass beads, Victorian clay, and McLaine silver

gems. Hand blown art glass and sculptural figures, vases, vessels, bowls by Zhukov/Goodale.

Michael Galullo/CT-sand etched table ware, silver point etchings, and paintings of sea animals.


Returning exhibitors include: Photos= luscious still life studies of fruit, vegetables, and
flowers, underwater and wildlife, nature, 
Renaissance reflections of
Europe , vanishing New York neighborhoods, local Milford shoreline sites: 
Fire Witch /CT–enhanced stoneware,
Tischler/NY-wheel Thrown, hand  painted pottery: CT/- Caricatures on site by Billy Dougal;

Baccheschi/portraits in water color and conte`pencil,   Weiss/PA-Architectural watercolors of your home.  
Branch/-oils of children at play, in a fluid, painterly style. Curt/ gem limnings
on silenced, stringed instruments.  
Juliano/-lush cartoon images integrate humor, irony,
parody.  Miglio/painted doors, murals, sail boat portraits;  
Baldwin-original, classical music on
her pedal harp in the Bandstand;  Payson –keyboard,soft jazz selections. 
Clothing designers,
stained glass with natural shell motif, mosaic table ware and demonstration.


Food Court  hosts –Grecian Delights-gyro, shish kebab pita, veggie rice, salad;  American

Breakfast /lunch by Pack 712 & Scout Troop 1, Thai Taste –Pad Thai, Garlic/Cashew Chicken.Italian Ice.
